Six Sigma

Six Sigma Certification is becoming an expectation in the business world. The training encourages individuals to stop what they are doing, examine how well they have done it, and then implement improvements to iron out defects. Most organizations focus only on the operational aspects of their business, seldom stopping to ask themselves: What went wrong? Six Sigma forces people to continually evaluate critical processes.

Six Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt, Yellow Belt, DFSS, and Lean Six Sigma Certification Courses were designed for the modern day busy lifestyle. Six Sigma Training not only allows the business to reach its potential, but also the career’s value.

Companies that implement a Lean Six Sigma training program find that a majority of defects are actually created during the design process. As companies’ processes begin to exceed Five Sigma, they typically hit a “wall” that requires a redesign of some or all of the processes. This process of redesign is called Design for Six Sigma (DFSS). DFSS is a rigorous approach to designing products and services as well as enabling processes from the very beginning to ensure that they produce Six Sigma-quality products and services and that meet customer expectations.

Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma

Lean Six Sigma course provides a systematic approach which reduces waste in the value stream. It not only covers defective products, but all types of defective work. It identifies defects, overproduction, inventories (in process or finished goods), unnecessary processing, unnecessary movement of people, unnecessary transport of goods, waiting, and designing goods and services that don’t meet customer’s needs.
The course integrates the principles of DMADV (Define, Measure, Analyze, Design, and Verify). This results in product designs that consistently meet customer requirements, target costs, target release dates, and manufacturing requirements.

Six Sigma Yellow Belt course provides an overall insight to the techniques of Six Sigma, its metrics, and basic improvement methodologies. A yellow belt must know how to integrate Six Sigma methodologies for the improvement of production and transactional systems to better meet customer expectations and bottom-line objectives of their organization.

A Yellow Belt typically has a basic knowledge of Six Sigma, but does not lead projects on their own. They are often responsible for the development of process maps to support Six Sigma projects. A Yellow Belt participates as a core team member or subject matter expert (SME) on a project or projects. In addition, Yellow Belts may often be responsible for running smaller process improvement projects using the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) methodology. PDCA, often referred to as the Deming Wheel, enables Yellow Belts to identify processes that could benefit from improvement.

These smaller Yellow Belt projects often get escalated to the Green Belt or Black Belt level where a DMAIC methodolgy is used to maximize cost savings using Statistical Process Control.

Six Sigma Yellow Belt training provides an introduction to process management and the basic tools of Six Sigma, giving employees a stronger understanding of processes, enabling each individual to provide meaningful assistance in achieving the organization’s overall objectives.

Six Sigma Yellow Belt course also improves:

The effectiveness of employees in their support role of Six Sigma
Personnel buy-in of Six Sigma
Day-to-day workplace activities

The Yellow Belt gathers data, participates in problem-solving exercises and adds their personal experiences to the exploration process. Not only do Yellow Belts gain the skills necessary to identify, monitor and control profit-eating practices in their own processes, but they are also prepared to feed that information to Black Belts and Green Belts working on larger system projects.

Six Sigma Green Belt

Six Sigma Green Belt training provides participants with enhanced problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) model. Six Sigma Green Belt helps the employee serve as a trained team member within his or her function-specific area of the organisation. This focus allows the Green Belt to work on small, carefully defined Six Sigma projects, requiring less than a Black Belt’s full time commitment to Six Sigma throughout the organisation.

This focus allows the Green Belt to work on small, carefully defined Six Sigma projects, requiring less than a Black Belt’s full-time commitment to Six Sigma throughout the organization.

The Green Belt has two primary tasks: first, to help successfully deploy Six Sigma techniques, and second, to lead small-scale improvement projects within their respective areas. As a support population, Green Belts can do much of the legwork in gathering data and executing experiments in support of a Black Belt project. During the Six Sigma Green Belt Training participants will learn how to use many of the Six Sigma problem- solving methods and statistical tools to contribute to the success of their organization.

Whether in healthcare, finance, manufacturing, government, or any other type of service or product based industry… Six Sigma Green Belt Training is ideal for anyone looking to get the most out of their career.
